Nine of Texas’ own Democratic U.S. representatives have hitched their wagons to the cause, urging President Biden to reconsider this harebrained plan. Yessiree, Texas leads the charge in oil and natural gas production, shattering records left and right like a bull in a china shop. And in 2017, the U.S. became a net exporter of natural gas for the first time in donkey’s years, all thanks to Texas leading the way.
