Former President Donald Trump is reloading his campaign cannon as the 2024 election approaches, with his old campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, making a return to the fold. While the exact role Lewandowski will play remains under wraps, one can expect that it will be nothing short of spectacular given his track record. Perhaps they need someone to remind everyone that Trump’s fundamental motto is “Let Trump be Trump” – a mantra captured in the spirit of unapologetic leadership.
In a strategic move, the Trump campaign announced several key additions to bolster their team. Joining the ranks are Tim Murtaugh, a communications maestro from the 2020 campaign, as well as a few seasoned pros from pro-Trump PACs: Alex Pfeiffer, Alex Bruesewitz, and Taylor Budowich. It’s like Trump is building his very own political Avengers, armed and ready for battle against the Democratic supervillains of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, who have been branded as the “most radical ticket in American history.” Talk about setting the bar high for what’s at stake!

Co-campaign managers Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita are excitedly touting the new recruits’ extensive experience in previous Trump campaigns. Their arrival is being interpreted as a signal of serious intent as Trump gears up to take on the rising threat of Kamala Harris. With the stakes as high as they are, this cadre of veteran campaign warriors might just find themselves sharpening their swords for the upcoming national debate scheduled for September 10 – a matchup that promises to be more riveting than the latest blockbuster movie.
Lewandowski’s return has stirred up some history along the way. He was given the boot back in 2015, left for a brief stint at CNN (presumably to get schooled in liberal bias), and then made headlines again when he faced some pretty scandalous allegations at a pro-Trump PAC event in Las Vegas. Despite all that drama, Trump seems happy to welcome him back to the troupe, proving that in politics, a checkered past doesn’t disqualify one from swinging back into action.
Meanwhile, Harris’ recent rise in the polls indicates that the Democrats might be feeling pretty snazzy buoyed by their supposed political stardom. However, if history has taught us anything, it’s that polls can be as reliable as a weather forecast – they forecast sunshine while storms are brewing. As the battle lines are drawn, the Trump campaign is ready to remind everyone just how ferocious a well-prepared Trump team can be, especially when the alternative is a ticket that is, by all conservative accounts, reminiscent of a political circus gone rogue.
