President Trump has once again shown the world that America doesn’t back down, especially when dealing with rogue regimes like Nicolás Maduro’s in Venezuela. The President declared Venezuela’s airspace off-limits, a bold move meant to tighten the noose around Maduro’s oppressive government. As usual, the liberal media is scrambling, questioning this strong stance rather than applauding the effort for poking holes in a tyrant’s operations. All while turning a blind eye to Maduro’s narcoterrorism that wreaks havoc across the Americas.
This isn’t about playing politics; it’s about self-defense. U.S. forces in the region are rightfully combating drug traffickers, evidenced by the numerous strikes on Venezuelan drug boats. Liberal pundits may cry foul, but protecting American shores and dealing blows to drug cartels should be lauded, not criticized. If the left had its way, it seems it’d rather negotiate with the drug smugglers than stop them in their tracks.

For years, Democrats cowered in front of Maduro’s regime, allowing instability and chaos in our backyard. Trump’s strategy shows real leadership—deploying the most advanced military fleet to send a crystal-clear message: the U.S. doesn’t tolerate threats. Biden could learn a thing or two from Trump about how to genuinely defend our nation’s interests and stability in the region.
Of course, when Trump speaks, the liberal elites clutch their pearls, worrying more about “global implications” and less about safeguarding American lives. Instead of roasting Trump, the left should question Maduro’s illegitimate hold on Venezuela. Yet, the White House remains evasive. Why aren’t they vocal about the conversations between Trump and Maduro? Maybe it’s because acknowledging the actual threat of Maduro’s governance forces them to support Trump’s hard-line policies.
Trump always asks simple, direct questions: Why should America allow drug traffickers to run wild at our doorstep? Maybe it’s time to ask why those on the left don’t have the guts to answer.
