Trump used social media to mock the DA of Fulton County, Fani Willis, after she asked for $200,000 in bond for him. He joked that he might take a trip to Russia and stay in a luxurious suite with President Vladimir Putin.
It’s no secret that Trump has criticized his prosecutors in various legal battles. He has also been outspoken about his criticism of those who are against him. For instance, he called Jack Smith, the special counsel, a "lunatic" and criticized Alvin Bragg, the district attorney in Manhattan.
The indictment handed down by the Fulton County grand jury last week was no surprise. The allegations of illegal interference during the presidential election of 2020 have been a major issue. It seems that Trump is facing the consequences. In spite of his legal troubles, Trump responded to the request for bond by posting a humorous message.
This incident serves as yet another example of Trump's ability to make a big deal out of anything. Whether you like him or not, you can't deny that Trump is capable of making a big deal out of anything.
