Trump Strikes: Calls Out Wars Abroad, Ignores Turmoil at Southern Border

Former President Donald Trump criticized President Joe Biden for his handling of the Middle East and the conflicts in Ukraine, Israel, and Yemen. Trump took to Truth Social to express his frustration, questioning why there are “wars” in these regions but not a “war” on the Southern Border. In his typical style, Trump referred to Biden as “Crooked Joe” and deemed him the worst president in U.S. history.

In addition to his criticism of Biden, Trump also took aim at Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, who has been hospitalized since January 1 due to complications from prostate cancer treatment. Trump questioned Austin’s ability to effectively lead while being hospitalized and claimed that the war in the Middle East was being run from his hospital room. It remains to be seen when Austin will be released from the hospital, and the Pentagon has reassured the public that his condition is “good.”

During Austin’s hospitalization, the U.S. military conducted strikes on Houthi forces in Yemen in response to attacks on American military and commercial vessels. Biden stated that he ordered the strikes, and the Pentagon confirmed that Austin was actively involved in directing and monitoring them. The Houthis have threatened to retaliate.

From a conservative perspective, Trump’s criticism of Biden’s handling of the conflicts in the Middle East aligns with concerns about the administration’s foreign policy approach. Additionally, questioning Austin’s ability to lead while hospitalized raises valid concerns about national security and the chain of command. These developments highlight the need for strong leadership and clear decision-making to address the ongoing challenges in these regions.
