Former President Donald Trump had a fiery and entertaining exchange with the new host of ‘Meet the Press’, Kristen Welker. This showdown took place at Trump’s glamorous residence in Bedminster, New Jersey. Welker went straight for the jugular, asking Trump about his legal issues, his alleged involvement in the events of January 6th, and his supposed spreading of falsehoods about the 2020 election. Talk about starting a conversation on a positive note!

Throughout the interview, Trump displayed his trademark flexibility and demonstrated that he can keep an open mind on critical issues such as abortion, the Ukraine conflict, and interest rates. He even entertained the idea of reevaluating his own party’s efforts to impeach President Joe Biden. That’s what we call a true conservative leader!
But let’s not forget the elephant in the room: Trump’s ongoing legal battles. Welker had the audacity to ask him if he worried about going to jail. Can you believe that? Trump remained calm and confident, responding, “No, I don’t really. I don’t even think about it.” That’s the kind of self-assurance we expect from a strong leader who is focused on making America great again.
Trump also didn’t hold back in expressing his disdain for his political enemies, labeling them as corrupt and accusing them of destroying our country. He even likened their indictments to those seen in Third World countries. Now that’s what we call an interesting perspective.
As the interview continued, Trump couldn’t help but showcase his popularity by throwing in some poll numbers. According to him, he’s leading the pack by a landslide. With numbers like that, it’s no wonder his opponents are trying so hard to take him down.
And speaking of opponents, Trump didn’t miss the opportunity to highlight President Biden’s penchant for telling lies. He listed off a few examples, including Biden’s false claims about being at the World Trade Center and his imaginary prowess as a pilot and truck driver. It’s truly astounding how many lies this president can fit into just a couple of weeks!
Finally, the topic of self-pardoning came up. Trump revealed that he decided against issuing a preemptive self-pardon before leaving office. However, when asked if he would consider it in the future, he didn’t rule it out completely. After all, why should he? He’s done nothing wrong and doesn’t deserve to be punished for challenging an election result.
All in all, Trump’s conversation with Kristen Welker showcased his unwavering confidence, his ability to think on his feet, and his commitment to making America great again. Love him or hate him, you can’t deny that he knows how to keep his supporters entertained.
