Former President Donald Trump’s legal team is pushing for a one-month extension for him to cough up more than a whopping $350 million in damages in connection with a New York civil fraud case. The lawyer, Clifford Robert, penned a letter to New York Judge Arthur Engoron, claiming that delaying the enforcement of the judgment wouldn’t hurt James in the least. I mean, come on, what’s the rush, right? If the delay is granted, Trump and his legal eagles will have a whole extra month to file the bond and launch an appeal. Plus, there will be a monitor watching over the whole process because, you know, who knows what kind of shenanigans they might try to pull?
