Twitter Under Fire for Muffling Whistleblower on ‘Racy’ Library Books for Kids

In a shocking revelation, the American Accountability Foundation (AAF) has accused the social media giant, X (formerly known as Twitter), of intentionally suppressing its posts that expose pornographic content promoted by the American Library Association (ALA) and local libraries. According to a newsletter published by AAF on Substack, X has slapped a “sensitive content” warning on “ALL OUR SOCIAL POSTS.” Not only that, but the AAF also claims that their account is being shadowbanned, making it virtually invisible to users searching on X.

The AAF, a conservative research group, has been diligently documenting the ALA’s disturbing activism under its new leadership. They have published a damning thread that provides evidence of the ALA’s promotion of explicit material. However, now, the AAF’s account is blocked unless users specifically choose to display the sensitive material through their personal settings. This means that users who are not signed into X cannot see the AAF’s posts. It’s a disgrace! As AAF spokesman Yitz Friedman aptly put it, “Under these rules, you’ll probably find more adult content at the kids’ library than on Twitter.”

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen censorship and suppression tactics employed by those who push their radical agendas. Parents who have voiced concerns about sexually explicit literature in schools have been silenced and shut down during school board meetings. It’s outrageous! It seems that instead of protecting our children, the ALA elected a self-proclaimed “Marxist lesbian” to lead the organization responsible for children’s libraries nationwide. And what do we see? The ALA recommending a list of 13 books, which they claim are “challenged,” blaming prejudice against the LGBT community. But here’s the kicker: these books contain sexually explicit and even pornographic material.

The ALA’s radical activism has not gone unnoticed. Conservative state lawmakers have taken a stand against this dangerous influence. In states like Missouri, Montana, and Texas, lawmakers have severed ties with the ALA, cutting off support for their extremist agenda. Other states are preparing to do the same. But it’s not just lawmakers who are speaking out. Thirteen conservative groups have issued a joint statement demanding that state and local leaders strip the ALA of government support. They rightfully argue that the ALA’s promotion of obscene materials targeted at children goes against state and federal laws designed to protect minors.

It’s time to hold Twitter (or X, as it prefers to be called now) accountable for its censorship and bias. Our children deserve better than to be exposed to pornographic content, whether it’s at their local libraries or on social media platforms. Let’s stand up for the freedom to read, but let’s do it responsibly and with respect for our children’s innocence.
