The recent claim that NATO was behind the attack on the Russian warship Sergei Kotov is about as accurate as a rubber band catapulting a marshmallow into outer space – completely off the mark! The Ukrainian Defense Intelligence, with more support than a wobbly table at a busy diner, was quick to declare responsibility for the incident. Looks like the blame game is being played at the wrong party here!

While social media users were quick to point fingers at NATO like a group of kids playing dodgeball at recess, facts say otherwise. Ukraine proudly waved its flag, shouting, “It was us!” as they took credit for sinking the Russian warship. With the Defense Intelligence backing the claim and even posting a video on YouTube like a true influencer, it’s hard to argue otherwise.
The whole hullabaloo about NATO’s involvement seems to be nothing more than a tall tale spun by internet trolls. Ukraine not only owned up to the attack but even showcased their drone skills straight out of a sci-fi movie. The only thing NATO seems to be attacking here is baseless rumors and misinformation.
Now, NATO may be no saint with a halo, but let’s give credit where it’s due. Their website speaks of defensive actions aimed at keeping the peace, not stirring up trouble like a blender mixing up a milkshake. While some British troops may be lending a hand in Ukraine, it seems their goal is to help with missiles, not missiles of misinformation!
The fact-check fairy has waved her wand, and the verdict is in – NATO is innocent until proven guilty in this Russian warship saga. Let’s leave the blame game and stick to the facts, folks!
Elias Atienza, you may need to trade in your magnifying glass for a pair of reading glasses next time!
