Nancy Pelosi recently announced that she will step down from her position at the end of this term. The Democrats have chosen Hakeem Jeffries, a progressive from New York.
On the surface, this choice seems like a good one. However, it's important to note that going with Jeffries could make hypocrites out of the party.
Democrats have been very vocal about their condemnation of former President Donald Trump's claims that the election of 2020 was stolen. They have also criticized the Republicans as being "election deniers."
As the incoming leader of the House Democrats, Jeffries has a long history of lying about the 2016 presidential election. He has also spread conspiracy theories about the election. He's more of an "Election Denier" that Trump ever dreamed of being!

In 2018, Jeffries referred to Trump's victory as an "ILLEGITIMATE". He also claimed that the country should be asking if Trump was a "FAKE" president.
In 2020, he once again claimed that history will never accept Trump as the president. He also claimed that Trump committed a "cheating" act in the 2016 election.
Contrary to what some liberals may believe, the presidential elections of 2016 was not stolen.
