An illegal immigrant from Venezuela has been accused of sexually assaulting a minor in Virginia. Renzo Mendoza Montes, aged 32, was reportedly charged with two felonies related to the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl. He faces charges of “carnal knowledge of a child without force” and “taking indecent liberties with a child.”
The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office revealed that Mendoza is a Venezuelan citizen who entered the United States illegally, taking advantage of President Joe Biden’s open border policies. This alarming case has once again highlighted the dangers of unrestricted immigration and the need for tighter border security.

Just last week, an American college student, Laken Riley, was tragically murdered during her run, and the suspect arrested for her murder is yet another illegal immigrant. This disturbing pattern of illegal immigrants committing heinous crimes is a cause for grave concern and reinforces the urgent need for stronger measures to prevent such atrocities.
In December, Townhall reported on the shocking case of an illegal immigrant from Nicaragua who had been deported from the United States five times, yet still managed to rape a woman in Ohio. Furthermore, an illegal immigrant in Colorado, who had a history of arrests and deportations, was apprehended after causing a fatal car crash that claimed the lives of a mother and her son. These horrific incidents underscore the failures of the current immigration system and the dire consequences of leniency towards illegal immigration.
Adding to the litany of senseless tragedies, earlier this month, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, deported from the United States five times, was involved in a hit-and-run car crash that took the life of a 10-year-old child. These instances serve as chilling reminders of the perilous impact of unchecked illegal immigration and the urgent necessity for robust measures to safeguard American citizens.
The repeated offenses committed by illegal immigrants expose the dire need for comprehensive immigration reform to protect the safety and security of American communities. It is imperative that the government acts decisively to address the rampant criminal activities perpetrated by those who have flouted the law by entering the country illegally.
