The Biden-Harris administration continues to prove that when it comes to border security, their motto might as well be “What threats? We see no threats!” Former San Diego Sector Border Patrol Chief Aaron Heitke has stepped into the spotlight, pulling back the curtain on the administration’s attempt to downplay the very real dangers lurking at the border. Heitke revealed that he was barred from telling the public about the surge of suspected terrorists—known in bureaucratic lingo as Special Interest Aliens, or SIAs—who have been encountered at the border. This is what you call putting political correctness over national security.
During a recent House Committee on Homeland Security hearing, titled “A Country Without Borders: How Biden-Harris’ Open-Borders Policies Have Undermined Our Safety and Security,” Heitke detailed the restrictions placed upon him. Instead of alerting Americans about the growing threats, he was reportedly told to keep quiet, contributing to the administration’s narrative that everything is just fine, thank you very much. It’s almost comical how determined they are to convince the public that the only thing crossing the border is harmless tourists with a hankering for tacos.
Stand by for Rep. Clay Higgins, R-La., who likened the Biden-Harris administration’s approach to border security as a “self-inflicted crisis.” The audacity! Instead of taking decisive action to protect citizens, they seem to have rolled out the welcome mat for criminals and potential terrorists alike, all while dismantling the effective measures set in place during the Trump administration. Is it any wonder that crime rates are rising and communities are feeling less secure?

By effectively throwing away the Trump-era policies that managed to keep a lid on these threats, the current administration has created a vacuum inviting mayhem. America’s borders have become an all-you-can-eat buffet for those looking to cause harm, and it’s taxpayers who foot the bill. The claim that the border is secure is starting to sound less like a policy stance and more like a bad joke. The only punchline is the obliviousness of the people in charge.
Dimensions of the Biden-Harris border presidency highlight a glaring contradiction—while the mainstream media and the administration control the narrative, real safety concerns are brushed under the rug.
