In an unfortunate turn of events, University of Alabama football player Elijah Pritchett found himself behind bars on Wednesday in Tuscaloosa. The redshirt freshman was arrested and charged with knowingly spreading a sexually transmitted disease, according to the Tuscaloosa Thread. After a brief stint in custody, Pritchett was released on a $500 bond.

Despite the legal trouble, Pritchett has had an impressive season on the football field. The 6-foot-6, 312-pound offensive tackle has appeared in all 13 games for the Crimson Tide, showcasing his talent and potential.
