President Biden once again proved his knack for flubbing his lines, this time at the annual turkey pardoning event at the White House. The lucky birds, named Liberty and Bell, were apparently being mistaken for pop stars, as the 81-year-old president couldn’t seem to get his facts straight.
Biden claimed the turkeys “had to work hard, to show patience and be willing to travel over a thousand miles.” Then he started rambling about how it was “even harder than getting a ticket to the Renaissance Tour or Britney’s tour. She’s down in — it’s kind of warm in Brazil right now.”

It’s safe to say that Beyoncé hasn’t had a “Renaissance” world tour, and she certainly hasn’t been performing in Brazil. And while Taylor Swift has been grabbing headlines in Brazil, it’s been due to a fan’s untimely passing at one of her concerts, not because she’s on tour there.
Conservative commentator Greg Price called Biden out on how much he got wrong in just a few short sentences, and trust me, it’s quite a list.
This is just the latest in a series of gaffes from the president, with a smattering of others from November 2023 alone that all show that the president’s agility at work and mental sharpness are a little less than they should be. There’s no doubt that all these slip-ups aren’t doing any favors for his standing in the polls. It’s not a great sign when a president can’t even get through a turkey pardoning ceremony without messing up.
America knows when it’s watching someone who’s just not with it. Biden’s down comforter of spin doctors might want to keep this toaster from popping up, because it’s getting borderline attention-grabbing for all the wrong reasons.
