Biden and Harris have expertly maneuvered the United States into a precarious position that could lead us straight into a Third World War. While historians took note of major blunders preceding past global conflicts, this administration’s consistent missteps could similarly mark the beginning of another catastrophic chapter in world history. If the spark ignites, the date everyone will remember is August 15, 2021, when chaos began to unfurl in Kabul, Afghanistan, marking the start of a series of calamities that could plunge the globe into conflict.
The journey to this potential international catastrophe has been paved with cold, hard cash, courtesy of President Biden’s seemingly endless desire to appease rogue regimes. When Biden took office, he wasted no time in rolling back Trump-era sanctions that had effectively put Iran on a financial diet. Meanwhile, Biden’s team claimed this move would be a stepping-stone back to the infamous 2015 nuclear deal, but history has shown that handing over cash to Iran only empowers their malign behavior, making the world a more dangerous place. Who knew freeing up funds for the world’s leading sponsor of terror would do nothing but encourage their weaponization activities?

In yet another stroke of sheer brilliance, the Biden-Harris duo unfroze $6 billion in Iranian assets to facilitate the release of five American hostages. While the intention might have appeared noble, the outcome was comical—if it weren’t so serious. Iran wasted no time, turning those funds into lethal supplies for groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, who are now ramping up their efforts against not just Israel but international shipping as well. Apparently, the mullahs took to the newly acquired cash flow like kids in a candy store—if the store were actually an armory.
Bidens’s generosity doesn’t end there. He has also given the Houthis a cozy reprieve by lifting their designation as a terrorist organization, right as they upped their attacks on shipping routes in the Red Sea. Just when it seemed that their proxy war efforts couldn’t get any more brazen, the Biden administration decided to reduce any constraints on their operations. Not to be outdone, Biden also reinstated funding to UNRWA, effectively pouring more American taxpayer dollars into what has essentially become a subsidiary of Hamas. Surprise, surprise—the result was an influx of financial support for terrorists being used against our allies.
On the other side of the world, Biden’s clueless approach has opened the door wide for Russian aggression. Under Trump, Russia was kept on a tight leash, but once Biden assumed office, the leash went slack. Early warnings were issued, but they were coupled with the notion that a “minor incursion” wouldn’t invoke much of a response. In an astounding display of weakness, America’s deterrence crumbled almost overnight. The notion that a stern meeting at Munich would curtail Putin’s ambitions was laughable; he pushed through the Ukrainian borders with alacrity just days later.
While the world watches, the Biden administration continues to stumble through its foreign policy agenda, viewing contradictions and appeasement as the route to peace. As Russia takes over without consequence, and Iran sees more green lights to expand its terror networks, other global powers might just perceive this moment of weakness as an opportunity. China knows it’s just a matter of time before it can make its move on Taiwan and the Pacific region. With America in such disarray, one can only hope that the 2024 elections provide a solid shift away from this disastrous trajectory before the country stumbles straight into another world war, and perhaps a few more cash flows to hostile states.
