Months before medical experts started scrutinizing President Joe Biden’s health due to suspicions of Parkinson’s disease post-debate, Biden’s physician had a noteworthy meeting. The debate on June 27 against former President Donald Trump showcased Biden’s alarming mental lapses, drawing the attention of Professor Robert Howard, an old-age psychiatry guru at University College London. Howard pointed out that Biden’s erratic attention spans hinted strongly at Parkinson’s. One would think the American people should know if their President is mentally capable or not.
Republicans are not surprised by these evaluations, as Representative Ronny Jackson of Texas, a former White House physician, has long suggested that Biden’s odd behavior might be more than just old age. Jackson stops short of diagnosing the President but asserts there’s likely some cognitive disease at play. According to White House visitor logs, these suspicions are well-founded.

White House records divulged that Dr. Kevin Cannard, a Parkinson’s specialist at Walter Reed Medical Center, rendezvoused with Biden’s doctor, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, and two others at the White House clinic back in January. Among them was Dr. John E. Atwood, a cardiologist, with an unidentified third. Jackson argues that these meetings were probably about Biden’s health, noting the tight-knit relationship between Dr. O’Connor and Jill Biden, who allegedly regards him as family.
The signs were all too clear during the disastrous debate: Biden’s blank stares, awkward facial expressions, shuffling gait, and a noticeable decline in motor skills. Dr. Sherry O’Donnell pointed out these telltale signs while speculating publicly about Biden’s cognitive decline. Americans witnessed it firsthand, leaving little room for doubt.

Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas, a physician himself, points out that speculations surrounding Biden’s health aren’t new. Medical professionals have suspected for years that he could be suffering from Parkinson’s. It is an unfortunate reality that over half a million Americans battle this progressive condition. If Biden is among them, the American public deserves transparency on his health, especially with the imminent election.
The White House’s response has been predictably evasive, with representatives noting that specialists regularly visit the complex due to the large military staff. However, the American people might want more than a vague reassurance when the person at the helm of their nation shows alarming signs of mental decline. It’s not about fostering hysteria; it’s about the right to know the condition of the Commander-in-Chief before stepping into the voting booth once again.
