Joe Biden is known for his ability to make light of serious issues. During a press briefing, the President made a joke about Senator Mitch McConnell's recent health scare. The remark quickly drew criticism. The journalist then asked Biden if he thought the Kentucky Senator was fit to continue serving.
When asked about his potential presidential run, Biden instead of directly addressing the issue asked Alejandro Mayorkas, the DHS Secretary, if he's interested in running. Biden is known for being one for deflection.
This week, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell experienced another medical episode during a press conference. The video showed him freezing, which left everyone puzzled. His staff quickly ended the session without providing an explanation.

This isn't the first time that McConnell has frozen up while talking to reporters. In July, he had the same issue during a press briefing. Maybe it's time for the senator to get medical help.
In addition to this, McConnell also experienced other health issues. In March, he went to a rehabilitation center after he fell during a private dinner at New York City's Waldorf Astoria Hotel. It was revealed that he suffered from a fractured rib and a concussion. Although he's currently serving his seventh term, it's clear that he's starting to feel a bit weak.
It’s troubling to think that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell might not be able to effectively carry out his duties due to his health. Although Biden may have made the joke as a joke, it’s important to keep in mind that serious issues are affecting the lives of our nation's political leaders. As a conservative, it's troubling to see our politicians struggling with health problems that could prevent them from serving the people.
We need strong and healthy leaders who can lead the Republican Party and make the necessary decisions to preserve the values of the party. It’s important that Mitch McConnell takes his own health seriously.
