Biden’s Top Official: “China Leads the Way on Climate Change”

The Biden administration’s dangerous naiveté when it comes to China’s communist regime is on full display with Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm’s recent comments praising China’s supposed commitment to alternative energy. Granholm, speaking at the SXSW conference in Austin, Texas, said that America should “learn from what China is doing” and that “the amount of money that they’re investing in clean energy is actually, you know, encouraging.”

This statement of admiration for China’s supposed commitment to green energy is a dangerous and naive one. It ignores the fact that China is actively building over half of the world’s coal-fired power generating stations, not because they are concerned about the planet’s climate, but because they want to limit their reliance on foreign energy sources.

This is yet another example of President Joe Biden’s administration being dangerously naive when it comes to China. It is clear that the Biden administration has not learned from the mistakes of the past and is willing to overlook the oppressive nature of the Chinese Communist Party in order to pursue a misguided agenda.

The Biden administration needs to take a hard stance against China and stop trying to appease them. The United States should not be looking to China for guidance on how to handle climate change. Instead, we should be looking for ways to hold them accountable for their actions and ensure that they are doing their part to protect the environment.

It is time for the Biden administration to wake up and realize that China cannot be trusted. We must take a firm stance against them and make sure that they are held accountable for their actions. Otherwise, we risk allowing them to continue to oppress their own people and pollute the environment without consequence.
