The recent observations about President Joe Biden’s treatment of Black individuals have sparked new conversations about his attitudes towards the Black community. Critics point to instances where Biden appeared dismissive or uninterested in engaging with Black individuals, leading some to label him as racist. This comes in conjunction with growing awareness of Biden’s cognitive decline, a topic that conservative media outlets have been highlighting for some time.
During a recent campaign event, footage circulated showing Biden seemingly ignoring a young Black girl in favor of interacting with white individuals nearby. This behavior, deemed rude by many, has prompted a reevaluation of Biden’s interactions with Black Americans. Notably, prominent figures such as Rep. Jim Clyburn and Symone Sanders have defended Biden against accusations of racism, but the tide seems to be turning as more individuals express doubts about Biden’s sincerity in addressing issues important to the Black community.
Criticism of Biden’s handling of race issues has not been limited to grassroots observers. Even Fox Business host Charles Payne took aim at Biden’s attempts to connect with Black voters, suggesting that the president’s efforts rang hollow. This scrutiny of Biden’s actions has coincided with a surprising uptick in support for former President Donald Trump among Black voters, with polls indicating a significant increase in approval ratings within this demographic.
