President Joe Biden and his administration just can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to their blatant attempts to censor social media content. Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, a true champion of free speech and defender of the First Amendment, revealed the latest blow for the Biden administration on the widely watched program “X.”
It all started when former Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, now a Republican U.S. Senator, filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration. And boy, did he hit the nail on the head with this one. The lawsuit aimed to put a stop to the government’s invasive and unconstitutional practice of reaching out to social media companies to control what we can and can’t say online.
Now, you’d think the Biden administration would take one look at the Constitution and realize they were in the wrong. But no! They stuck their heads in the sand and had the audacity to argue that it’s perfectly fine for the federal government to silence voices and stifle free expression. Can you believe that?
Thankfully, though, a judge in July called out their outrageous behavior and labelled it as “the most massive attack against free speech in United States’ history.” And you know what? The judge couldn’t have been more accurate. This isn’t just about political parties, folks. It’s about preserving our fundamental right to speak our minds, regardless of our beliefs.
The judge, Terry Doughty, went on to express his concerns about how the Biden administration’s censorship targeted mainly conservative speech. But let’s be real here, folks. This isn’t surprising at all. The left has been trying to silence conservative voices for ages. They can’t handle the fact that we’re onto their games, exposing their flawed ideology, and fighting for our traditional American values.
The First Amendment isn’t some exclusive club for liberals. It applies to all of us, regardless of our political affiliations or ideologies. Its purpose is to protect a vibrant marketplace of ideas, where the truth can flourish and prevail. It’s not meant to be monopolized by the government or any private entity.
So, kudos to Attorney General Bailey, Attorney General Schmitt, and all those who are standing up for our right to free speech. The Biden administration needs to learn a lesson: American values cannot be trampled upon, even if they don’t align with their liberal agenda.
