In a shocking and frankly predictable revelation, former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino dropped an absolute bombshell on Tuesday during the Rumble Live “Triggered” podcast. Bongino, speaking at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, divulged details that should send chills down the spine of anyone who values national security and the sanctity of a presidential life.
He revealed, courtesy of an “unimpeachable source,” that the rooftop where Thomas Crooks executed his disgraceful attack on former President Donald Trump was supposed to be manned. However, the designated personnel were inexplicably absent. One has to wonder, who exactly dropped the ball here? And more importantly, why isn’t anyone at Homeland Security or Secret Service being held accountable? Bongino intimated that Director Kimberly Cheatle had been threatened with termination by both the Biden administration and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas if she dared to disclose these shocking lapses in security.

Ah, the classic blame game and the desperate attempts to downplay the incompetence. It’s almost comical—almost. The official narrative tries to rationalize that the roof was just too precarious to post an agent. Really? Since when did Secret Service agents start making “it’s too tough” an excuse? They’re supposed to stand between harm and the president, not worry about their shoes getting scuffed. The mainstream media predictably parrots this nonsense while ignoring the glaring question: Why wasn’t there a backup plan if the original post was deemed unsuitable at the last minute?
Social media, up in arms, has skewered the official story as utterly ridiculous. Conservative commentators and everyday Americans alike are rightly skeptical. The notion that the Secret Service botched such a crucial detail of the president’s security is appalling. If the Secret Service, under current leadership, doesn’t get its act together, this could be the new normal in Biden’s America—an administration that thrives on mediocrity and failure, putting American lives, including a former president’s, at risk.
Furthermore, Bongino’s additional revelation that Cheatle was essentially gagged by her superiors speaks volumes about the rot within these institutions. It’s an open secret that under this administration, whistleblowers and truth-tellers are often silenced. The American public has every right to be outraged. The sheer negligence on display is not only an indictment of the current presidential administration but also a testament to the systemic decay permeating through federal agencies.
And yet here we are, waiting for someone—anyone—to be fired for this monumental blunder. Crickets from the Left, radio silence from Homeland Security, and a mainstream media more interested in running cover than in holding the powerful accountable. Once again, it’s painfully clear that President Joe Biden’s administration is nothing short of a catastrophe on every conceivable level. The stunning incompetence and the cover-ups have become the hallmark of this presidency. Is it any wonder why so many Americans feel like their country is spiraling out of control?
