The number of illegal immigrants in the US has increased significantly over the past couple of years. Ron Desantis and other Republican leaders have started sending them to so-called blue states, such as Joe Biden's homestate of Delaware. However, one group is exempted from this practice.
In response to a question about the increasing number of Cuban immigrants in Florida, Lieutenant Governor Nuez of the state said that the DeSantis administration would send them to Delaware.

During the past year, the US Coast Guard has intercepted over 4,000 migrants at sea. Also, there has been a significant increase in the number of Haitian migrants coming to Florida.
