Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) kicked off this whole impeachment inquiry business without even bothering to get a vote from the House. Yikes! But don’t you worry, Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is taking charge and plans to push this inquiry forward. They’re even working on getting Hunter Biden, the president’s son, to spill the beans in a closed-door interview. And hey, if he’s willing to yap to Congress in public, why not behind closed doors, too? Can’t hurt, right?
This whole impeachment inquiry thing has been a real rollercoaster, but it looks like the House is finally making moves to hold Joe Biden accountable. It’s about time, if you ask me! Keep your eyes peeled, folks, because things are about to get really interesting in the political arena!
