Gilberry, a Republican candidate, highlighted his disappointment with the Biden administration and the Democratic Party, emphasizing his commitment to putting Alabama first and supporting the agenda of former President Donald J. Trump. With a total of 21 candidates vying for this seat, 8 of whom are Republicans and 13 are Democrats, the competition is fierce.
Additionally, Gilberry raised concerns about the Black Lives Matter movement, likening it to the KKK, and expressed his stance against men competing in women’s sports and entering women’s facilities. He emphasized his commitment to upholding American values and protecting women and girls.
Despite predictions that the district might lean towards a Democratic candidate, Gilberry remained confident in his ability to win the race by prioritizing truth and the well-being of Alabama. He pledged to focus on creating opportunities for the community and advocating for the state’s interests.
