James Comer, the leading House investigator for an alleged bribery scheme involving former Vice President Joe Biden, has shed light on his recent meeting with the FBI. Comer has disclosed that he was provided details about an FD-1023 form that lists Biden as a participant in a criminal bribery scheme and has not been disproven or discredited by the FBI. The bureau had finally agreed to brief Comer after weeks of ignoring a subpoena. Comer has stated that the confidential human source who provided information about Biden’s involvement in the scheme is a trusted, highly-credible informant who has been used by the FBI for over a decade and paid six figures. These are facts, and no amount of lies from the White House or congressional Democrats can change this information.

Furthermore, Comer has confirmed that the FD-1023 is part of an ongoing investigation, which could either mean that the FBI is investigating the alleged bribery scheme or that they are just making this claim to keep the document out of the hands of Congress. In response, Comer has announced that Congress will now hold hearings on holding FBI Dir. Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress. Although this may not have any legal ramifications, it could help provide grounds for a future court battle to obtain the FD-1023 form, as well as bring attention to Biden’s alleged corruption and criminality.
