The Western Journal reports that a Wisconsin school district is in hot water after a man exposed himself in a female locker room and the federal Department of Education decided to stick its nose into the situation. The incident, which occurred back in March at Sun Prairie East High School in the Sun Prairie School District, has landed the school district in the crosshairs of a Department of Education investigation. The letter sent by the Education Department to the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, a conservative law firm that filed the complaint that triggered the investigation, stated that the inquiry falls under Title IX of the Civil Rights Act.
Patti Lux, a representative for the school district, attempted to downplay the severity of the situation, claiming that the specific details of the complaint remain unclear and that the district had already addressed the incident. However, the complaint from the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty tells a different story. It alleges that after a group of girls finished a swim class, they discovered an 18-year-old male student in the locker room who identified as transgender. According to the complaint, the male student proceeded to undress and shower next to the girls, fully exposing his adult male body to the shocked and embarrassed young women.

The conservative law firm also accused the school district of mishandling the situation. They claimed that the school failed to take appropriate action in response to the incident and even attempted to brush off the incident by referencing a non-existent policy. The district allegedly neglected to offer support to the affected girls or properly investigate the matter, leaving the parents and students feeling abandoned and unprotected.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty stressed that this incident was not an isolated one. They emphasized that their fight was not just for the Sun Prairie community, but for every parent and student whose rights are being trampled on. They called for a thorough investigation by the Biden Administration and demanded transparency and accountability from the Sun Prairie School District.
