Biden’s Endless Ukraine Cash Grab Hits Taxpayers Again!

The Biden administration is in a panic, running around like a headless chicken, squawking about the urgent need for Congress to approve billions of dollars in military and economic assistance to Ukraine. This comes as no surprise, as the bumbling Biden administration seems to be constantly begging for money to solve their problems.

In a letter to House and Senate leaders, Office of Management and Budget Director Shalanda Young issued a dire warning that the U.S. will run out of funding to send weapons and assistance to Ukraine by the end of the year. She went on to claim that this lack of funding would “kneecap” Ukraine on the battlefield, as if the fate of the entire country depends on the United States’ checkbook.

Young also emphasized that the U.S. has already run out of money to prop up Ukraine’s economy, painting a bleak picture of Ukraine’s future if they don’t receive more handouts. It’s like the Biden administration is running its own version of a lemonade stand, except they’re using taxpayer dollars instead of lemons.

President Biden, always looking for a handout, has proposed a whopping $106 billion aid package for Ukraine, in addition to assistance for Israel and other needs. But surprise, surprise – this proposal isn’t being well-received. Even Republicans who are supportive of the funding are rightly demanding changes to the disastrous U.S.-Mexico border policy as a condition for providing the assistance. It’s about time someone put their foot down and said, “No more free lunch!”

Despite Congress already allocating $111 billion to assist Ukraine, the Biden administration is crying poverty, claiming that almost all the money has been depleted. It’s like a kid who gets a weekly allowance and blows it all on video games by Wednesday. And now, they are begging for more money to support their bad habits.

The Biden administration has even slowed the pace of some military assistance to Ukraine in recent weeks, trying to stretch supplies until Congress approves more funding. It’s like they’re playing a dangerous game of chicken, hoping Congress will cave in to their demands. And the audacity of suggesting that Congress needs to act now to help a democratic Ukraine fight against Russian aggression is laughable. It feels like they’re treating Congress like their own personal piggy bank.

The letter to Congress was followed by a classified Capitol Hill briefing on the need for the assistance, as if this issue should be kept under lock and key. Instead of coming clean to the American people about the financial mess they’ve made, the Biden administration is keeping secrets and asking for even more money behind closed doors.

It’s high time the Biden administration stops treating taxpayer dollars like Monopoly money and starts being responsible with the funds they have. Maybe they should take a page out of the average American’s book and live within their means for once.
