The press secretary of Governor Ron DeSantis stated that the Department of Business and Professional Regulation was investigating the event. The agency would then forward all the necessary evidence to the state's law enforcers.
Following the event, The Floridian was able to obtain an executive address from Governor DeSantis, where he stated that the Department of Business & Professional Regulation was looking into the matter. He also said that the agency would forward all the necessary evidence to law enforcers.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) will then make a final decision regarding the potential criminal liability of the individuals involved. The DBPR was also aware of the complaints about the event, and it was looking into the matter, as well as the photos and video footage taken from the event. Like other cases, the agency would take action.
In Florida, it is illegal to expose kids to sexually explicit content. Doing so also violated the agency's licensing standards.
The agency will forward the necessary evidence it has collected to the FDLE for possible criminal action.
A spokesperson for the agency stated that the investigations of these types of incidents are carried out regularly, and they thanked the public for reporting them. “As always, the Department will continue to look into these allegations.
This type of thing would not happen if Charlie Crist were running for governor of Florida. Because he thought that it was okay to hold such events.
Hopefully, the organization that sponsored the event will be held accountable for its actions, and its business license revoked. This would send a strong message to other businesses in Florida.
