The brave soldiers of America’s renowned World War II “Ghost Army” were finally recognized for their valor and cunning strategies with a well-deserved Congressional Gold Medal. Hoorah for these heroes! Only seven of the original 1,000 troops are still with us today, truly a testament to the passage of time and the sacrifices made for freedom. It’s heartwarming to see Bernard Bluestein, John Christman, and Seymour Nussenbaum, among others, being honored at the ceremony. Kudos to House Speaker Mike Johnson for leading the tribute to these American icons.
