GOP Fights AI Bias: New Act Targets Lib-Controlled Tech Giants

In a proactive move, GOP congress members are taking action to address potential biases in artificial intelligence (AI), a development that is likely causing unease among the liberal media. While certain left-leaning news outlets may deny it, there is a genuine concern that AI could exhibit systemic bias against conservatives.

To address this concerning issue, Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri recently announced the No Section 230 Immunity for AI Act on June 14. This proposed legislation aims to hold companies accountable for any harm caused by generative AI by making them liable for damages. This step is crucial, particularly as certain liberal publications like Vice attempt to dismiss reports of bias in AI in a manner that strains credibility.

Despite their efforts to shift blame away from AI, Vice suggests that the apparent bias is due to a lack of offensive content on the internet that could satisfy conservative requests. This explanation is not only absurd but also indicates a clear agenda to stifle conservative voices.

It is worth noting that OpenAI, the organization behind the well-known ChatGPT chatbot, is far from impartial. Founded by technology magnates such as Elon Musk, OpenAI has transitioned into a for-profit company, raising ethical concerns regarding their impartiality.

Furthermore, tax filings reveal that OpenAI's substantial financial assets, amounting to tens of millions of dollars, have been used to finance Universal Basic Income (UBI) pilots. UBI is a policy typically favored by left-leaning individuals, further suggesting a liberal bias in AI programming.

Lastly, it is important to highlight that a majority of AI researchers receive funding from Big Tech, which predominantly donates to Democratic candidates. When combined with the fact that major left-leaning funders in the tech industry, such as Dustin Moskovitz and Sam Bankman-Fried, are enthusiastic supporters of AI, it is no surprise that conservatives are concerned, prompting Republicans to take legislative action.

It is evident that Republicans are at the forefront of efforts to address liberal bias in AI programming.
