GOP Voters Sound the Alarm: Only 37% Trust Their Primaries!

Republican voters have serious doubts about the integrity of their own party’s primaries, and who can blame them? A recent poll by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research revealed that a measly 37% of Republicans actually believe that their primary and caucus votes will be counted correctly. That’s right, only 37%! This is a clear indication that there is something fishy going on in the Republican primaries.

According to the poll, 31% of Republicans have “moderate” confidence in the reliability of their party’s primary votes, while a whopping 32% have “only a little” or “none at all” confidence. It’s like they’re saying, “Yeah, right, as if our votes even matter!”

The distrust among Republican voters is palpable, with many echoing the sentiment that the last election was rigged, and therefore, nothing will ever be fair again. Take Julie Duggan, for example, a 32-year-old Republican who told the Associated Press, “I don’t trust any of them at this point.” She’s not alone in this thinking, as many Republican voters share her skepticism and believe that the system is stacked against them.

On the flip side, Democrats seem to be quite confident in the accuracy of their own primary votes, with a staggering 72% expressing faith in the system. However, they also have more confidence than Republicans in the reliability of Republican primary votes. This just goes to show how biased and out of touch the Democrat party really is.

But hold onto your hats, because it gets even more troubling. Republican voters are even less confident in the integrity of Democratic primaries, with a measly one-fifth of them having any real confidence that the votes will be counted correctly. Can you blame them? It’s like trying to trust a fox to guard the henhouse!

Overall, the poll paints a pretty bleak picture for the future of the Republican party, with one-third of Republicans feeling pessimistic about its future. This sentiment is not a good sign and shows that something needs to change within the party.

The pollsters spoke to 1,074 U.S. voters from Nov. 30 through Dec. 4, and the sampling error is a significant plus or minus 4 percentage points. It’s clear that something needs to be done to restore the faith of Republican voters in the integrity of their party’s primaries. After all, if they can’t trust their own party, who can they trust?
