As a result of the fashion mogul and performer's string of public outbursts in which he disparaged Jews, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) put pressure on Adidas to sever its relationship with West.
Jonathan Greenblatt, the director of ADL, wrote to Adidas executives last Thursday to express his disappointment that the athletic wear firm had not yet taken explicit steps to distance itself from West, whose Yeezy line of footwear is produced in collaboration with Adidas.
2013 saw the start of Adidas' collaboration with West, and in 2016 the two parties agreed to a deal for Adidas to produce and market West's Yeezy clothing brand both domestically and internationally.
Removing ties was done. Tuesday occurred after one of the major talent agencies in Hollywood, CAA, announced that it was dropping West.
Film and television producer MRC announced that it was shelving a West documentary that was already complete.
The corporation reportedly stated, according to the Los Angeles Times, "We cannot support any content that amplifies his platform."
Ari Emanuel, CEO of Endeavor, and other prominent figures in the entertainment industry urged on all businesses to cut connections with him.

One of the most fruitful alliances in the history of the industry, according to the corporation, the relationship has had a "tremendous impact" on its operations.
After Bloomberg reported earlier in the day that Adidas planned to cancel the collaboration, Adidas lost 4% in morning trade in Frankfurt.
