The liberal media's bias was on full display when CNN's Jake Tapper and Rachel Maddow refused to cover Donald Trump's defense against federal charges during his live event. Their reasoning was that he might say something that was untrue. It's a double standard that's all too common in the mainstream media.
It is especially problematic since Trump's defense was in the public's interest, given that he is being prosecuted by a sitting U.S president and his rival for the presidency, who has a different classified document scandal. Despite this, Tapper and Maddow refused to air his defense.
For years now, CNN and MSNBC have been continuously broadcasting false information about the Trump administration and the Russia hoax. It doesn't make sense for them to stand up for Trump while he's fighting for his freedom.

The presidential candidates should not hide their defense from the American people. This is especially true after being attacked by the left-wing media, which has been continuously labeling them as dangerous and guilty. Their biased reporting is a disservice to the public.
Journalists should also hold the powerful and the privileged accountable, regardless of their political affiliation. Unfortunately, the mainstream media has lost sight of this. Americans should stop listening to and watching CNN and MSNBC until they start doing their jobs properly.
