In a recent interview on Fox News, former Republican Representative Jason Chaffetz criticized House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for not taking action on the Biden family’s alleged business dealings. Chaffetz called on Republicans in Congress to stop leaving the issue “off to the side” and instead press for answers.
According to Chaffetz, there is ample evidence to suggest that President Biden and his family were involved in questionable financial activities. He accused the Democrats of hypocrisy, saying that if they had evidence like Republicans did, they would have already moved to impeach President Biden. Chaffetz praised Republicans for responsibly questioning the Department of Justice’s handling of the issue and called for further investigation, including obtaining documents, suspicious activity reports, bank records, and phone records.

Chaffetz also criticized the White House for what he perceived as a pattern of lying. He urged Congress to show some courage and organize themselves to demand answers. He specifically called for McConnell and McCarthy to unite all Republicans and take a strong stance on the matter. Chaffetz believes that once Republicans are unified and demanding action, things will start happening in Washington, D.C.
