The media is practically falling over themselves at the prospect of Kamala Harris throwing down the gauntlet and challenging JD Vance to a debate, as if it’s the most groundbreaking thing they’ve ever witnessed. It all started when Donald Trump revealed his pick of the junior Ohio Senator as his running mate, causing a stir of speculation before the official announcement. While some may view Vance as a surprising choice due to his relatively short time in the Senate, there’s no denying his ability to articulate his points effectively – something the Biden camp might want to take notes on.

Immediately after Vance was named as the VP pick, Kamala Harris wasted no time in issuing a debate challenge, with her allies singing her praises as a formidable opponent. It’s quite the spectacle to see the administration making it seem like Kamala is the proactive one here, especially considering Vance hasn’t even been formally introduced at the convention yet. And let’s not forget the subtle jab at Vance for supposedly dodging the offer of a debate that was never actually officially presented.
Extremely excited to watch Kamala Harris run circles around JD Vance.
She has more experience, more vision, more empathy, and more integrity in her little finger than he has or could ever have.

The Democrats are really pushing the narrative that Kamala Harris is gearing up to outshine Vance in a debate, painting her as a master of eloquence who will leave her opponent speechless. However, it’s worth noting that Vance is no slouch in the communication department, having graduated from college in just two years and achieving success as a bestselling author. In contrast, Harris is known for her convoluted and often nonsensical statements that leave much to be desired in terms of clarity and coherence.
It’s rather comical to see the media and Harris supporters hyping up her debating skills when her most memorable debate moment was really just a fly landing on Mike Pence’s head. While they may try to portray her as a linguistic virtuoso, the reality is far from that ideal. Perhaps instead of getting swept up in the theatrics of Harris’ empty rhetoric, it would serve everyone better to focus on substance and actual accomplishments – something JD Vance brings to the table in spades.
