Turns out, not even the Democrats want to #StandWithBiden. A new NBC News poll revealed that only one-third of Democrats are giving old Joe the thumbs-up as their party’s nominee. To be exact, a not-so-impressive 33% are satisfied while a whopping 62% would prefer someone, anyone else, and 5% just didn’t know what to think. Maybe they’re still recovering from that last Biden speech.
The poll, which surveyed 800 registered voters from July 7-9, spells more bad news for Biden. As if failing to be the teachers’ pet wasn’t enough, 58% of Democrat voters disapproved of his performance as President. Only 40% of these voters think he’s doing a good job. The remaining 2% must be living under D.C.’s biggest, most oblivious rock.
Meanwhile, conservative amusement at Democrat turmoil can be matched only by their confidence. In a head-to-head scenario between Trump and Biden, 45% of voters would ride the Trump train while 43% would reluctantly park their vote with Biden. Throw in a few more fringe candidates for fun, and Trump still edges out Sleepy Joe, with 40% versus Biden’s 37%.

As dissatisfied Dems dream of greener pastures, Republican voters remain as loyal as ever. According to the same NBC poll, a solid 71% of Republicans are standing firmly behind Trump for the 2024 presidential election. Only 27% aren’t satisfied, possibly yearning for more golden escalator moments or another round of “covfefe.”
The liberal media is often quick to point fingers when the wind blows the wrong direction, but this mess belongs entirely to the Democrats and their disintegrating allegiance to Biden. The prospects of “Sleepy Joe 2.0” aren’t exactly setting liberal hearts aflutter. At this rate, running as a Dem might soon require a body double for whoever gets to hold that flaming torch next. The Ivory Tower crew better buckle up for a bumpy ride.
