It’s official: the radical left’s war on truth has reached new heights. Over the weekend, a leftist extremist tried to assassinate President Trump and his team at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. That’s not some wild conspiracy theory—this would-be killer from California had an actual manifesto bragging about targeting Trump and his officials. He spelled out his twisted motives in black and white. Yet, while bullets were still warm and the facts were plain as day, Obama stepped onto the stage and tried to act like we didn’t know why it happened.
This isn’t just tone-deaf. It’s dishonest. Pretending there’s even a “mystery” about the shooter’s intentions is outrageous. The left loves to claim they’re about facts and “our democracy,” but when one of their own gets caught red-handed, suddenly they play dumb. The shooter didn’t care about “unity.” He wanted blood. And the targets? Conservatives who dare defend this country and its values.

Meanwhile, the liberal media and elite Democrats are busy tiptoeing around the truth. They downplay the would-be assassin’s words. They act like political violence is neutral—like it doesn’t always come roaring in from their own side. Crickets from the cable news panels. Nothing but empty calls for “rejecting violence”—code for keep your mouth shut if you’re on the right.
Let’s be clear: if the tables were turned and this were a MAGA hat-wearing shooter going after Biden or the left’s favorite bureaucrats, there would be nationwide outrage. There would be wall-to-wall coverage, angry think pieces, and calls for censorship. But because the targets were conservative leaders, suddenly it’s all process and platitudes. The hypocrisy is off the charts.
America deserves leaders who call things by their names and confront the reality of left-wing hate. The fact is, the left’s reckless rhetoric and unhinged hatred for Trump is inspiring violence. When will any of them finally admit it? Or will they keep spouting empty slogans while conservative lives hang in the balance?
