Swimmer Assault Case Ditched by SF Cops: Bias at Play?

Former University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines was allegedly attacked at San Francisco State University one year ago, and the campus police department recently announced that it has closed the investigation without charging a suspect. Sounds fishy, huh?

Gaines was minding her own business, delivering a speech at a Turning Point USA event, when a group of protesters barged in, disrupted the event, and even went as far as flicking the lights on and off. The nerve! Someone get these hooligans a lollipop and a timeout.

But it gets worse! Gaines claimed she was physically assaulted not once, but twice, and was held for hours while the protesters demanded a ransom. Seriously, who do these people think they are, the Three Stooges?

Even with solid video evidence and eyewitness accounts, the police have suspended the case, citing all charges as “alleged” and “unfounded.” What’s the point of capturing the chaos on camera if it’s not even admissible in SF? Talk about a slap in the face to justice.

Adding insult to injury, Gaines was caught on video being verbally attacked by a protester who hurled profanities at her. Classy, real classy.

The plot thickens when law enforcement attempted to reopen the case last summer, but Gaines declined to meet with them, claiming she “just wasn’t willing.” Come on, Riley! Do you want justice or not?

In the midst of all this drama, we can’t help but remember Gaines tying for fifth place with transgender swimmer Lia Thomas at a national championship. An achievement tainted by the controversy surrounding transgender athletes competing in women’s sports.

Overall, this whole ordeal is a prime example of the left’s aggressive tactics to silence conservative voices and trample on the rights of women. Gaines, a fierce advocate for women’s rights, is clearly being targeted for speaking out against the unfairness of transgender athletes in women’s sports. It’s a shame that she’s being punished for simply standing up for what’s right. Keep fighting the good fight, Riley!
