Donald Trump criticized Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Wednesday for labeling himself as a "RINO-GLOBALIST" after the latter responded to the former president's constant attacks.
Trump referred to Ron Paul as a "RINO globalist" who closed down Florida and its beaches. He also criticized the former's love for vaccines.
Trump criticized DeSantis' response to the COVID-19 outbreak over the weekend, where he accused the governor of intentionally shutting down Florida's beaches.
During a press briefing, DeSantis responded to Trump's attacks. He did so after Henry Rodgers of the Daily Caller asked about the former's attacks.
In response to Trump's criticism, DeSantis said that he was getting attacked from various angles. However, he noted that the good thing about it is that voters can make their own decisions regarding his re-election.
“That verdict has been rendered by the people of the state of Florida,” he added.
