In an effort to prevent a potential war, former President Donald Trump has offered to help the Biden administration. It’s time for Joe Biden to put aside his political differences and work with Trump for the country's best interests.
According to a report by the Western Journal, Trump was worried about the possible disruption of the Nord Stream pipelines, which are designed to transport gas from Russia to Germany. He posted a message on his Truth Social page that warned about the potential escalation.
In his post, Trump discussed the hurricane that's threatening Florida and the status of the Nord Stream pipelines. He noted that while everyone is talking about the hurricane, he brought up the issue of the pipelines, which were out of Russia. He warned that the situation could lead to a major conflict.
Last week, a leak was discovered in the Nord Stream 2 pipeline in the Baltic Sea. It's located about a kilometer below the surface. Two other leaks were also reported in the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, which was completed in 2011.
According to a report by FOX News, even if political will were to be brought to bear on the construction of the pipelines, experts from Eurasia Group noted that they would not be able to deliver natural gas to Europe this winter. Russia had prevented the construction of the Nord Stream 1 pipeline during the war. Germany, on the other hand, prevented the start of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
The construction of the Nord Stream pipelines was partially blamed for the conflict between Europe and Russia, which started after the invasion of Ukraine in February. Since the gas supplies from Russia have dropped, the prices of gas have increased.
Trump is a man who is committed to the best interests of the United States of America. Biden, on the other hand, should put aside his political differences and work with Trump for the country's best interests.
