Trump Gains Major Support Among Arab American and Muslim Voters as Biden Struggles

Recent reports indicate that former President Donald Trump is gaining significant support among Arab American and Muslim voters. His allies are actively engaging with this key demographic, planning a private dinner in Michigan led by Ric Grenell, Trump’s former Acting Director of National Intelligence.

The dinner will feature prominent individuals like Michael Boulos, Tiffany Trump’s husband, and his father Dr. Massad Boulos, CEO of SCOA Nigeria PLC. This event follows a Times poll showing Trump with a commanding 57 percent support among Arab and Muslim American voters in swing states, compared to Biden's 25 percent.

Some dinner attendees are already Trump supporters, while others are considering backing him. Syrian-American activist Sam Assad Hanna, for example, is working to mobilize Trump support in swing states, citing concerns over regional stability. This highlights Biden’s difficulties in retaining support from these communities, especially following his criticized handling of the Israel and Hamas conflict.

Biden’s challenges are further underscored by the rise of the uncommitted movement, where over half a million Democrat primary voters have chosen “uncommitted” votes in protest of his approach to the conflict. This movement's momentum in crucial battleground states like Michigan presents a significant obstacle for Biden’s reelection campaign.

As Trump gains traction with Arab American and Muslim voters, Biden faces increasing pressure to address the issues important to these groups. With the election approaching, Biden must navigate these challenges to strengthen his support and win over voters dissatisfied with his handling of international crises.
