Former President Donald Trump, along with his team of attorneys, is facing some serious legal trouble after the 2020 presidential election. And boy, oh boy, are these charges absurd. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis seems to have thrown the kitchen sink at Trump, charging him with everything she could possibly think of. It’s like she’s playing a game of “let’s see what sticks” with the former President.
But here’s the kicker – these charges are not your run-of-the-mill federal charges. No, siree! These are state charges, which means no presidential pardon can come to Trump’s rescue. And you know the Dems must be rubbing their hands together in glee, just waiting for Trump to rot away in jail. It’s a liberal’s dream come true, I tell ya.
Now, if Trump wanted to seek a pardon in Georgia, he’s got a long road ahead of him. The law there says convicted individuals have to serve time before even being eligible for a pardon. Talk about making it tough for the guy! And if he manages to jump through all those hoops, he better have been on his best behavior for the past five years, because they only grant pardons to those who have lived a law-abiding life. No pending charges, no unpaid fines – it’s like trying to navigate a minefield.
And let’s not forget, it’s not just Georgia that’s after Trump’s hide. He’s got an indictment in New York City and two others from the feds. They’re coming at him from all angles, like a swarm of angry bees. It’s a tough spot to be in, no doubt about it.
