The Biden Administration was able to negotiate the release of WNBA star Brittney Griner from a Russian prison the White House Reported today. Biden announced on Twitter that she is on her way home.
Despite the praise from liberal lawmakers, former President Donald Trump blasted it as terrible for America.

Trump criticized the deal, saying that it was a “one-sided” exchange between the US and Russia. He noted that Griner was traded for a man known as The Merchant of Death, who has been responsible for the deaths of thousands of individuals. He also criticized the lack of inclusion of Paul Tyson, a former US Marine.
The president refused to answer his critics on the exchange.
