Former President Trump had some choice words for his GOP rivals during the first debate in Milwaukee. However, he did manage to find a candidate that he liked. Trump took to Truth Social to praise Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, saying that Ramaswamy’s answer in the debate earned him a big win.

What did Ramaswamy say to earn Trump’s praise? Well, he didn’t hold back in his admiration for the former president. Ramaswamy declared that Trump was the best president of the 21st century and insisted that it was a fact. Clearly, Ramaswamy knows how to win the favor of Trump.

WOW – Ron had to check out the rest of the stage to decide whether or not to raise his hand.

Not all of the candidates received such glowing reviews from Trump. He had harsh words for some of the others. According to Trump, former Gov. Asa Hutchinson was a joke, and Chris Christie was booed off the stage. As for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Trump accused him of forgetting his past and not living up to expectations.
In a surprising move, Trump decided to skip the debate altogether and instead have a sit-down interview with Tucker Carlson on X. It seems like Trump knows how to make a big splash no matter where he is.
It’s no secret that Trump likes to speak his mind, and he didn’t hold back in his assessment of the GOP candidates. It’s refreshing to see a politician who isn’t afraid to call out others for their shortcomings. Ramaswamy clearly understands the power of flattery, and it’s clear that DeSantis has disappointed Trump. As for Trump’s decision to skip the debate, it’s just another example of his ability to draw attention and create buzz. Love him or hate him, you can’t deny that Trump knows how to make an impact.
