Tucker Carlson RIPS Biden’s “Otherworldly Disconnection” from US Reality

Critics have accused the Biden administration of neglecting domestic issues, particularly following the recent train accident in East Palestine, Ohio. On Monday, Fox News presenter Tucker Carlson harshly criticized the administration, describing it as being “completely out of touch” with the realities of American life.

During a February 13th appearance at the National Association of Counties conference, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg expressed concerns about the lack of diversity among construction workers. However, he did not address the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, which occurred on February 3rd, until ten days later during the same conference. Buttigieg’s response was in the form of a Twitter thread that he posted in the evening. Carlson specifically criticized Buttigieg for this delayed response.

During his segment, the Fox News host also brought up Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen’s recent visit to Ukraine, during which she announced $1.2 billion in aid to the country. This announcement comes on top of the over $100 billion in aid the United States has already sent to Ukraine since Russia’s invasion on February 24th, 2022. The Department of Defense had previously announced in December that a battery of MIM-104 Patriot surface-to-air missiles would be sent to Ukraine, and in January that 31 M1 Abrams main battle tanks would also be provided.

“We were happy to see that, finally someone in the Biden administration who actually cares, who is getting on an airplane to show concern,” Carlson said. “That’s the good news. The bad news is she wasn’t in East Palestine. She was in Ukraine.”

The Biden administration’s priorities appear to be misplaced, with a greater focus on foreign affairs than on pressing domestic issues. The recent examples of Secretary Yellen’s visit to Ukraine and Secretary Buttigieg’s delayed response to the train derailment in East Palestine highlight this disconnect. Such disregard for the safety and welfare of American citizens is unacceptable, and it is concerning that the administration seems so disconnected from the realities of the country.

Carlson’s comment that  “if only they had paid Joe Biden’s crackhead son 80 grand a month for a no-show job, Janet Yellen may be visiting them today” is a clear indication of the administration’s lack of concern for American citizens. This statement underscores the administration’s apparent prioritization of personal interests over the welfare of the people they are meant to serve.

The Biden administration’s apparent focus on foreign affairs to the detriment of domestic issues is unacceptable and suggests a lack of concern for the safety and welfare of American citizens. It is imperative that the administration redirect its attention towards addressing the challenges facing the country and prioritize the needs of American citizens over foreign interests.
