During her weekly press briefing, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California snapped at a reporter when she asked whether she intended on finishing her term as speaker after she steps down in January.
In her speech, the outgoing House speaker discussed her achievements as a leader of her party.
The Daily Wire reported that Pelosi's attitude immediately soured after she was asked whether she would be able to finish her term as speaker if the gavel were to be removed.

Following the midterm elections, which gave Democrats control of the Senate, Pelosi said she would step down from her position as the leader of the party. She would then remain as a backbencher.
According to Townhall, Pelosi was elected to serve a two-year term in November, but she has not committed to finishing the full term.
Despite the fact that many Americans, especially those from her district, want to know if she would be able to finish her term as speaker, she only gave a brief three-word response.
