In the latest news about President Joe Biden, the man took a victory lap about the economy adding 216,000 jobs in December. The president went and claimed it was all thanks to his administration’s policies. He boasted that 2023 was a fantastic year for American workers, going as far as saying the economy created 2.7 million new jobs, with unemployment rates consistently below 4 percent – all thanks to him, of course.

Biden even had the guts to say American workers’ wages and wealth are higher now than before the pandemic began. But hold on a minute! According to those pesky polls, it looks like a lot of folks aren’t exactly thrilled with ol’ Biden’s handling of the economy. In fact, only 37% of the population approves of his economic performance.
But hey, the Republican National Committee is always ready with a rebuttal. They’re saying that labor force participation has actually gone down. They argue that unemployment rates have gone up for women, Hispanic Americans, people with disabilities, and high school graduates who didn’t go to college. They also pointed out that the number of full-time workers took a nosedive while the number of part-time workers hit a record high. So, it looks like not everyone’s having a jolly good time in the Biden economy.
Biden, not one to back down, ended his statement vowing to keep fighting for the good ol’ American workers and admitting inflation is still a pain in the neck. He had the nerve to say he’s doing everything in his power to lower everyday costs for hard-working Americans. But let’s not forget, he made sure to throw some shade at those sneaky Congressional Republicans, saying he will continue opposing their efforts to give the “big wigs” and corporations some hefty handouts.
