In a recent interview, Joe Biden once again showed the world just how out of touch he really is. Armed with a cheat sheet and a handful of falsehoods, the president sat down with Univision and delivered a performance that could only be described as a comedy of errors. It’s nice to see him finally doing interviews, even if they are carefully choreographed with friendly reporters who are more interested in covering for him than holding him accountable.
One of the most jaw-dropping moments came when Biden claimed he used to teach the Second Amendment in law school. Spoiler alert: he didn’t. That’s just another lie in a long string of falsehoods that seem to come effortlessly from his mouth. Not only did he get his own background wrong, but he also made ridiculous statements about cannons and weapons of war that are completely untrue. This kind of misinformation is dangerous and shows just how little respect he has for the truth.

Biden’s legacy is nothing to brag about, despite his attempts to spin it in a positive light during the interview. From his disastrous time in the Senate to his current presidency marked by global conflicts and economic turmoil, there’s not much to celebrate. His claims of job creation and economic growth fall flat when you look at the reality facing American families. Most people are feeling the squeeze of inflation and high interest rates, not reaping the rewards of so-called job growth.
In typical fashion, Biden also tried to paint himself as a unifier, acting like he’s above the fray of political divisiveness. This is the same man who regularly demonizes his opponents and dismisses anyone who disagrees with him as extremists. The irony is thick with this one. Let’s not forget the countless times he’s insulted voters and shown a blatant disregard for anyone who doesn’t fall in line with his agenda. If anyone’s to blame for the current state of disunity, it’s Biden himself.
As the interview went on, it became painfully clear that Biden’s cognitive abilities are rapidly declining. His brain seemed to short-circuit multiple times, leaving viewers wondering how someone in such a state could possibly lead the country. It’s a sad state of affairs when the leader of the free world can’t even handle softball questions without tripping over his own words. And this is who we’re supposed to trust with the future of our nation? Yeah, right.
The bottom line is that Biden’s interview was a train wreck, but what else is new? It’s just another reminder of why we need strong conservative leadership to steer us away from the disaster he’s creating. Let’s hope voters remember moments like these when the next election rolls around and make a change for the better.
