Biden’s Shock Move: Will He Free Assange? Outrage Ensues!

In a surprising twist that has conservatives shaking their heads, President Joe Biden seems to be entertaining the idea of dropping charges against notorious troublemaker Julian Assange. Can you believe it? During a meeting with Japan’s Prime Minister, Biden actually mentioned that they are “considering” a request from Australia to let Assange off the hook. This Assange guy is facing a boatload of charges, including espionage and computer misuse, which could land him in the slammer for a whopping 175 years. And here Biden is, thinking about letting him walk free. It’s like a bad joke!

Australia, led by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, has been pushing for Assange’s return home, and sure, people have mixed feelings about the guy, but come on – it’s not like he’s innocent. This Assange character caused a whole lot of trouble by releasing classified information through WikiLeaks, like sensitive military documents and diplomatic cables. That’s not exactly a walk in the park, folks. Letting this guy get away with it would be a slap in the face to all the hardworking men and women who protect our nation’s secrets.

Assange has been dodging the long arm of the law for quite some time, holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy and then behind bars at Belmarsh Prison. Now, he’s trying to fight extradition to the U.S. from Britain, where they’re finally starting to see through his charade. Even Germany’s Chancellor is urging the Brits to keep him away from American authorities, claiming he would face “persecution.” Persecution? Give me a break. Assange isn’t some innocent victim – he’s a troublemaker who needs to be held accountable for his actions.

Let’s not forget that back in the day, whistleblower Chelsea Manning got her sentence commuted by President Obama, who Biden was VP for at the time. Manning spilled the beans on a lot of the documents Assange published, yet now here we are, with Biden mulling over letting Assange off scot-free. It just doesn’t add up. The Justice Department is staying mum on the situation, but one thing’s for sure – it’s a slippery slope when we start pardonning folks who’ve betrayed their country’s trust. Let’s hope Biden comes to his senses and puts an end to this outrageous idea of dropping charges against Assange.
