Biden’s Student Loan Scheme: Cashing in on Voters?

President Joe Biden, true to his word that he’d push his agenda no matter what, announces he’s forging ahead with a scheme to wipe out billions in student loans. This move comes hot on the heels of the Supreme Court giving his previous attempt a big red “X.”

Biden, in his never-ending quest to splash the cash, claims he’s doing it for the good of the masses. Yet, forgive a little student loan here, forgive a little student loan there – before you know it, we’re talking real bucks! And last time I checked, the national debt was soaring like a rocket on July 4th.

South Dakota’s no-nonsense Governor Kristi Noem pulls no punches, slamming Biden for what she calls “buying votes” – and she’s not wrong! Borrowing money left, right, and center, tossing it around like confetti at a parade, all in the hopes of securing his White House throne for another go-around. But hey, why worry about fiscal responsibility when you can just print more money, right?

Now, Biden’s waving his SAVE plan flag, promising to extinguish the student debt of those who’ve been paying their loans for a decade or more and owe less than $12,000. Sounds nice, doesn’t it? But let’s face it, this is just another effort to rally the troops for a bigger army of voters. Classic move from good ol’ Joe – one hand washes the other, right?

In a dramatic flourish, Biden vows that this time, the Supreme Court won’t rain on his parade. But let’s not forget, just a short while ago, they threw cold water on his plans to scoop up $430 billion in taxpayer dollars to clear student debt. So what’s changed? Who knows – Biden’s got more lives than a cat when it comes to dishing out the cash.

Critics are in an absolute tizzy over this student debt forgiveness notion. After all, why should hardworking folks who never set foot in a college lecture hall have to foot the bill for those who did? It’s a case of the haves and the have-nots, and guess what – the “have-nots” are tired of carrying the burden for everyone else. It’s high time President Biden stops playing Santa Claus with Uncle Sam’s wallet and starts acting like a leader who actually cares about the financial well-being of all Americans.
